David Wayne Bonds Jr ., 33, of Williston, ND formerly of Calhoun, GA, died Friday, January 6, 2023, in a Minot, ND hospital.

Wayne was born June 24, 1989 in Calhoun, GA to David Bonds Sr. and Ramona (Smith) Bonds. He was raised in Calhoun, GA and attended Gordon Central High School.

Wayne was once married to Rebecca England. They were united in marriage on January 18, 2007 and had two children, Lucas and Claire. Wayne was later blessed as a father of twins, Brooklyn and Bailey.

He spent his early working years in construction and his latest in the oil industry leading him to reside in Williston, ND.

Wayne enjoyed most of his spare time outdoors, often filling his days with fishing, camping, swimming, dirt bike riding, or just sitting around a fire, listening to country music. He will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know him.

Wayne's surviving family members include his children Lucas and Claire of Calhoun, GA and Brooklyn and Bailey of Canton, GA; his companion in life Jenny Fougner and her children, Colton and Rhyatt of Williston, ND; parents Ramona (Smith) Kinsey, of Calhoun, GA and David Bonds Sr. of Dalton, GA; grandparents Myrtle (Glass) and  Naseer Ahmad, of Covington, GA and Raymond and Connie Smith of Calhoun GA; a brother Chaz Smith and wife Lauren of Calhoun, GA; a sister Shon (McMahan) and her  husband Eric Gibson, of  Savannah, GA; a niece Carly and nephews Kellin, Ezra, and Grayson; special family members include Cody, Shayna, and Corey McMahan and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Wayne was preceded in death by his grandparents Eddie Austin and Nancy Jean (Studdard) Bonds.

A service will be held in his hometown of Calhoun, GA at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 21 ^st . At The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at, 455 McDaniel Station Rd. SW Calhoun, GA. 30701. After which we will gather at Woodring Branch of Carter's Lake to share memories and celebrate the love and life of Wayne.
