Darren Jay Trotter joined his Beloved Gaga and his Mother in Eternal Rest on January 18, 2021 at the age of 62 after a valiant battle with cancer.

Jay was born December 24, 1958 in Nashville, TN to Hollie Trotter and Edith Parrish Trotter. Jay lived most of his life in Nashville and spent the last years of his life in Minot, ND. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force.

Jay loved trips to Disney World and was a world traveler but the most important thing in Jay's life was his family. He lived his "Dash" with a kind loving heart.

Jay was preceded in death by his parents, maternal grandparents Raymond Parrish and Hazel Hamlett Parrish (his beloved Gaga), paternal grandparents Arietta and George Trotter, great uncle Clyde Hamlett, great aunt Lyda Mae Hayes, uncle Jack Parrish and nephew Maddux Araya.

Jay is survived by his sister Kim Araya, nephew Landan Araya, aunt Betty Parrish Counter and many cousins and friends. Jay's family gives special thanks to Bev and especially Brandon Cade for being a constant in Jay's life in Minot.
