Obituary

Darla Mae Just , 42, 1712 44th St. S.E. - Minot and formerly of Fessenden and Oakes died on Wednesday September 20, 2006 in her home.

Darla was born on February 16, 1964, in Oakes, ND, to Alvin and Cozette "Cozy" (Colby) Bonnet. She was raised in Fessenden and Minot where she attended school and graduated from Minot High School in 1982, and from Minot State University with a Bachelors Degree in Nursing in 1998.

Darla was once married to Richard Aldridge, in this union, a son Michael was born in December of 1983. Darla later married her best friend and soul mate Greg Just on December 13, 1991, in Minot. They made their home in Minot where she was a nursing supervisor at Trinity Hospital of Minot.

Darla was happiest when she was at their lake cabin at Parshall Bay on Lake Sakakawea. She especially enjoyed boating, motorcycle rides or lounging by the campfire with her friends and family. She looked forward to going every weekend or when her work would allow. Darla was an extremely caring mother, wife, friend, sister and daughter and she would do everything she could to make the people around her happy. Her infectious smile and unmistakable laugh made her the life of the party. Darla was adored by many and loved by more, so she will be deeply missed by her family, friends and the community.

Her loving family includes: Husband: Greg Just, Minot; Son: Mike Aldridge, Moorhead, MN; Mother: Cozy Wehunt, Minot; Father: Alvin Bonnet, Minot; Paternal Grandmother: Helen Bonnet, Turtle Lake, ND; Sisters: Darcey (Dennis) Sharp, North Pole, AK, Denice (Paul) Suess, Williston; Brothers: Capt. Shane (Teejae) Wehunt, Heidelberg AFB, in Germany and Justin (Fiancée Melissa) Wehunt, Bismarck; Mother-in Law: Doris Just, Mission, TX; Brothers-in-Law: Terry (Brenda) Just and Jeff Just, both of Minot, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins and her dog, Rusty.

Darla was preceded in death by her grandparents and father-in-law Elton Just.

Funeral Service: Monday September 25, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. in the new location of Zion Lutheran Church at 1800 Hiawatha Street - Minot.
Visitation: Sunday from Noon until 5:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home - Minot.
Memorials are preferred.
