Danny Lawrence Pardon, 64, rural Sawyer, died on Sunday, December 30, 2007 in an Augusta Georgia hospital from an apparent heart attack.

Danny was born on May 23, 1943 in Tacoma WA to Daniel and Myrtis (Matzdorf) Pardon. He was raised in Minot and graduated from Minot High School in 1962. After graduation he attended the Colorado Aero Technical School in Broomfield, CO prior to beginning employment with the Boeing Air and Space program in Seattle WA. He returned to North Dakota and was employed at a Grand Forks sheet metal company.

Danny married Marie Suchor on June 29, 1977 in Minot. They made their home north of Minot for three years until they moved to their present home in Willis Township of Ward County south of Sawyer. Danny was employed for many years as a trucker first with Owl Wrecker and then by Atlas Ready Mix, Gravel Products, Blaine Janz, Koble and Sons and presently by Britton Trucking of Grand Forks.

Danny was a member of the Willis Township Board and especially enjoyed fishing, camping and visiting with family, friends, truckers and strangers alike.

Survivors include his loving wife of 30 years Marie; mother: Myrtis Pardon of Minot, sisters: Joanne (Jack) O'Connor of Atlanta, GA and Judith Stave of Athens, GA and brothers: Richard (Bev) Pardon and Eddie Pardon both of Minot; mother-in-law: Betty Suchor of Towner; sisters- in-law: Marlene (Del) Keller of Minot and Carol (Gary) Mortimer of Reedsburg, WI; brothers-in-law: Roger (Denice) Suchor and Jerome (Lisa) Suchor both of Towner, John (Pam) Suchor Jr. of Larimore, Paul (Sally) Suchor of Gillette, WY, Valentine (Tammy) Suchor of Redfield, SD and Lavern (Renell) Suchor of Hillsboro, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Danny was preceded in death by his father Daniel Pardon and father-in-law: John Suchor Sr.

Mass of Christian Burial: Saturday, January 5, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in St. John The Apostle Catholic Church - Minot.
Vigil Prayer Service: Friday at 6:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home Chapel - Minot.
Interment will be in Willis Township Cemetery -rural Sawyer.
Visitation: Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home - Minot.
