Danni Louise Weidert, 79, Minot and formerly of Eupora, Mississippi died on Sunday, May 13, 2012 in a Minot hospital.

Danni Mitchell was born on January 29, 1933 in Stewart, MS to Dan and Lou (Fisackerly) Mitchell. She was reared and educated in Eupora, MS and graduated from Eupora High School in 1951. As a young adult she was employed in Memphis, TN and was once married to Bertram Shaw. This union was blessed with a son Barry who preceded his mother in death. Danni resided in Northport, Alabama for many years where she was employed in a nursing home for nineteen years as a dietary aide.

Danni moved to Minot in March of 2001 and married William Weidert on April 20, 2001. They had since made their home in Minot.

Danni especially enjoyed reading, dining out and watching western movies and old movies.

Danni is survived by her loving husband William, sister, Judy Upton of Stewart MS; niece: Lisa Hayes and nephew: Mark Burns.

Danni was preceded in death by her parents, son, and brother-in-law: Tom Upton.

Funeral Service: Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home Chapel.
A Graveside Service will be at Reeds Chapel Church Cemetery in Eupora MS.
Visitation: Wednesday, May 16, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home - Minot.
Memorials are preferred to an organization of the donor's choice.
