Daniel "Dan" Bush, 65, Minot, died Saturday, July 3, 2010 in a Minot hospital.

Daniel was born March 6, 1945 to Edward and Eileen (Flickinger) Bush in New Rockford, North Dakota. He was reared and educated in New Rockford graduating from St. James Academy in 1964. He entered into active duty service with the US Air Force in 1965, and served during the Vietnam Conflict.

He was honorably discharged in 1968. He was united in marriage to Leona Hager on November 10, 1986 in Minot, North Dakota.

Daniel had a love for woodworking, refinishing furniture, carving animals and spending time bird watching.

Daniel is survived by: His wife Leona Bush, Minot; mother Eileen Bush, New Rockford, ND; daughter Tracy Stoddard Branson, MO; sisters Sharon (Jim) Thomson, Rapid City, SD, Donna (Paul) Wilson Rochester, MN, Teresa (Gene) Weigel Fargo, ND, and Paula (Gary) Jensen, Grand Forks, ND; brother Mike (Ruth) Bush, New Rockford, ND; step-sons James Hager, San Jose, CA, Glen Hager, Battelview, ND, Dave Hager, Minot, and Andy Hager, Minot; step-daughter Angela Hager, Minot, and many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and grandchildren.

Daniel was preceded in death by his father Edward Bush, brother Edward James Bush, and step-sons Kenny and Lenard Hager.

Mass of Christian Burial: Friday, July 9, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in St Leo's Catholic Church, Minot;
Visitation: Thursday from 2:00-7:00 pm in the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot;
Internment: Rosehill Memorial Park;
Memorials: Memorials are preferred to an organization of the donor's choice.
