Dakota Lloyd Scott Rader, 18, Minot, died Thursday, March 10, 2016 in Minot.
Dakota was born February 26, 1998, in Minot, ND to Chancy Albers and Jennifer Rader. He attended school at Central and Magic City Campus in Minot, where he was interested in drawing, music, and long distance running. He was active in the student body as Student Council President, while attending school in Bismarck, ND and was an excellent student.
Dakota experienced life around the world by living not only in Minot, but also in Tunica, MS, Oklahoma and even spent some time in Germany. He will always be remembered for his passion to make everyone around him happy. He spent many days fishing with his family and was known to chase his cousin, Karlee on occasion. He will be missed deeply by all who shared in his life.
His loving family includes his mother, Jennifer (Richard) Bilharz, Molt, MT; father, Chancy Albers, Minot; sisters, Brittany and Justice Albers, Molt, MT; grandparents, Charlotte and Lynn Henson, Tunica, MS, Judy and Frank Banning, Minot, ND, Lyle Rader, Wahpeton, ND, Jeff and Tara Bilharz, Colstrip, MT, Mary Knox Leach, Molt, MT and Dave and Danell Albers, Minot, ND; great-grandmother, Marian Zuck, Belcourt, ND; aunts, Rachel Henson, Tunica, MS and Hope Albers, Minot, ND and uncles, Shawn Ellingson, Sioux Falls, SD, Lyle Rader II and Bryce Rader both of Belcourt, ND along with numerous great aunts and uncles and many cousins.
Dakota was preceded in death by his aunt, Brittany Rader and uncle, Joshua Albers.
Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2016, at Peace Lutheran Church, Burlington.
Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
