Curtis Nachatilo, 57, Butte, ND, died Thursday, February 14, 2019 in a Velva care center.

Curtis was born August 3, 1961 in Minot, ND to William and Evelyn (Siewart) Nachatilo. He was educated in Washington and graduated from Darrington High School in 1979.

Curtis spent his working years at the lumber mill in Washington and upon his return to North Dakota; he assisted his brother and neighbors with daily tasks on the farm. Truck driving was his specialty.

Curtis enjoyed cooking and was known to make a good batch of chili. He spent many hours on his toy collection always looking for the next piece to add. Curtis was a good man, hardworking and easy to call a friend. He will be missed by all who shared in his life.

Curtis is survived by his brother Gerald (Julie) Nachatilo, Butte, ND, William Jr. (Marcia) Nachatilo, Spearfish, SD, Karen (Brad) Hanson, Wenatchee, WA, Kathy (Larry) Farrow, Albuquerque, NM and Carla Korona, Everett, WA along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Curtis was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Marvin and Sandra Nachatilo.

Celebration of Curtis' Life: Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Butte, ND.

Interment: Butte Community Cemetery, Butte, ND
Memorials are preferred to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Butte.
