Curtis Wayne Everson, 70, Minot, died Wednesday, October 20, 2021 in the Garrison Benedictine Living Community.

Curtis was born July 8, 1951 in St. Paul, Minnesota, the son of Harold and Betty (Burch) Everson.   He moved to Minot with his family at an early age and attended Minot Public Schools. He furthered his education at a college in Colorado Springs where he received a degree in Paralegal work.

Curtis entered into active duty service with the U.S. Army in January 17, 1985.   He received a medical discharge on September 22, 1988 and remained in Colorado. He was united in marriage to Pamela Kabanuk on March 25, 1988 in Colorado Springs. They moved to Minot in 2000, where he was employed with Trinity Medical Center primarily with the Human Information Management department for several years. He retired in 2010.

Curtis was an avid fan of the Denver Broncos and enjoyed watching their games on TV. He was a collector of coins and had participated in pool and softball leagues in his younger years.

His loving family includes :  wife of 33 years, Pam Everson, Minot; daughter, Ashley Simpson of Minot; sons, Curtis Jr and Kenny Everson, both of Dickinson; step-daughter, Gwen Askew of Minot; 3 grandchildren, Melissa Askew of Fargo; Janessa Maynard of Minot; Virgil Simpson of Minot; sisters, Kim (Charles) McNicholas of Minot; Candace Fahy, Springfield, Missouri; several nieces and nephews.

He was proceeded in death by: Father, Harold Everson; Mother, Betty Everson; Brother, Kenny Everson; Sister, Karen Gillmore.

At his request there will be a Private Family Memorial Service.

Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park at a later date.
