Cornelia 'Nealie' F Johnson , 64, Minot, ND, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022, in a Minot hospital.

Nealie Johnson was born on October 9, 1957, in Fargo, ND to Wayne and Mildred (Stone) Johnson. She grew up in Burlington and graduated high school from Des Lacs Burlington in 1975.

Nealie spent her early working years in the food service at a number of area restaurants until gaining employment at Soaring Eagle Outerwear where she made a lifelong career as a seamstress.

Nealie was blessed as a mother of three children and seven grandchildren in her life. She shared her married life with Scott Bertsch in Minot.

Nealie was a charter member of Peace Lutheran Church in Burlington. Family was especially important to Nealie. She enjoyed cooking meals, baking and having special lunches with her grandchildren. She treasured every moment spent with them.

Nealie is survived by her children, Amie Teague, Bartlesville, OK; Stephanie (Mike) Bloms and Corey (Saskia) Johnson both of Minot; grandchildren, Parker Teague; Sawyer and Jasper Bloms; Kylie and Averi Johnson and Zoe and Jaxon Schumann; siblings, Cheryl (Dave) Lavallee, VT, Stephen (Wanda) Johnson, MT, and Tim (Paula) Johnson, Minot; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Scott Bertsch.
