Constance J. Oseles, 90, Minot, died Friday, September 14, 2012 in a Minot care facility.

Constance was born May 19, 1922, in Superior, WI, the daughter of Martin E. and Jennie A.O. (Johnson) Widness. She was raised in Superior, graduating from Central High School with the class of 1940.

Constance was joined in marriage to William J. Oseles on June 19, 1941 in Duluth, MN. They resided in Duluth for seven years until moving to Fargo. During World War II, she was employed in Massachusetts at a parachute factory.

They settled to the magic city of Minot in 1957, following William's job as a signal maintainer for Burlington Northern Railroad. Constance cared for her beautiful family of seven children and found time to be involved in the community and her children's activities through PTA, Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts.

She was a member of First Lutheran Church, Minot, where she was active for many years.

Constance enjoyed reading, collecting stamps and post cards, and doing cross word and jigsaw puzzles. She will be remembered most for her loving care for her children and grandchildren.

Her loving family includes children, William (Sarah) Oseles, El Paso, TX, Robert (Lisa) Oseles, Ft. Dix, NJ, Richard Oseles, Minot and Ronald (Dee) Oseles, Fargo, ND Vivian (Grant) Barber, Des Moines, Iowa, and Christine (Douglas) Hinkle Apollo, PA; Eighteen Grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Michael Ward, Minot and a niece, Rev. Deborah Fischer, and many other relatives.

Constance was preceded in death by her parents, husband William, daughter, Joan Ward, granddaughter, Michelle Ward, sister, Vivian Holton, brother, Ronald Widness and nephew, James Widness.

Celebration of Life Service: 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 18, 2012, at First Lutheran Church, Minot.
Interment: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot.
Visitation: Monday, September 17, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
