Obituary

Constance 'Connie' LaVone Rose Briggs , 92, Minot, joined her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Tuesday, February 26, 2019 in Mohall, where she stayed at the Good Samaritan.

Connie was born August 22, 1926, in Minot, ND to Walter H. and Rose (Brockel) Greenhalgh. She was raised in Minot, graduated from Minot High School in 1944, and went on to study Music at what is now Minot State University.

As a young adult she was employed as an office professional for a local attorney, Cal Waldron, for a number of years.

Connie was united in marriage to Dr. Brian E. Music was a staple in her life. Connie taught piano and voice lessons from their home for many years. Connie and Brian sang in church choirs, sharing their love through music at special events like weddings and funerals, sang with the Minot Chamber Chorale, and performed in various productions with the Minot State University Theater. Connie had a lead role in the King and I.

Besides cooking, sewing and gardening, Connie enjoyed golfing with Brian. They would be at the Minot Country Club whenever they could.

Connie became Brian's strongest supporter in his medical wellness practice in their home as his office manager. She was a strong catalyst for so many patients transitioning from patient to friend.

Connie held memberships at First Presbyterian Church, Calvary Alliance and Cornerstone Presbyterian Church, all of Minot, where she was active in the music ministry for many years.
