Colleen L. Baltus, 82, Minot, formerly from Garrison, ND, passed away peacefully on February 20 ^th , 2023 in a Minot Nursing home under the care of hospice.

Colleen was born on the family farm south of Palermo, ND to Ferdinand and Viola Karbowski. She graduated from Palermo High School. Colleen was united in marriage to Robert Rowe in 1959.  From this marriage three children were born, Pamela, David and Rodney Rowe. They resided in Stanley, ND until relocating to MN. They later divorced.

While in MN, Colleen was united in marriage to Leonard Baltus in 1991. The couple relocated from MN to their lake home south of Garrison, ND in 1999. Colleen resided at Maple View Memory Care since 2016 until declining health.

Colleen is survived by: her children: Pamela (Keith) Axtman and David (Sally) Rowe; sister: Sharon Grosche and brother: Michael (Mary) Karbowski; Six grandchildren & seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Colleen is preceded in death by : her husband, Leonard; son, Rodney Rowe; parents; brothers, Frederick and Ronald Karbowski; sisters, Vivian Karbowski and Charita Korstad.

Colleen's family would like to extend a thank you to the staff of Maple View Memory Care for the excellent care and compassion they provided over the many years she resided with them.

A Private graveside service will be held at a later date at the Van Hook Cemetery.  Cremation has taken place.
