Clarice Ilene Sorensen, 80, Minot, died Thursday, October 15, 2015, in a Minot hospital.

Clarice Ilene was born March 27, 1935, in Park River, ND to Clifford and Irene (Gustufson) Hanson. She was educated in East Grand Forks, MN and graduated from East Grand Forks High School in 1953.

Clarice Ilene was united in marriage to Robert Sorensen on November 28, 1980 in Las Vegas, NV. They made their home in Minot over the years, where she provided a loving home to her family for her entire life.

Clarice Ilene loved the outdoors, especially fishing with her husband. She also enjoyed sewing dolls in her spare time.

Clarice Ilene's loving family includes her husband of 35 years, Robert Sorensen, Minot; children, Charles Betts, Minot and Kathryn Ann Boyd; grandchildren, Shaun and Tyler Betts and sister, Joyce Roberts, East Grand Forks, MN.

Clarice Ilene was preceded in death by her parents.

A gathering for family and friends to pay their respects to Clarice Ilene will be held on Monday, October 19, 2015, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Thomas Family Funeral Home in Minot.
