Christine was born September 24, 1927at Linton, North Dakota, the daughter of Ignatz and Melonia (Huber) Bosch.   She was raised on the family farm near Linton and was educated at Linton through the eighth grade.    She moved to Minot in 1952.   She was once married to Andrew Dorscher.   They were blessed with three children, Arla, Nancy and Ignatz.

Chris was a longtime member Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Minot, as well as the Moose Lodge, Eagles Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary and Sons of Norway and the Polkateers.   She enjoyed playing, bingo, cards, along with reading and dancing.  Chris was a loving and outgoing person.  She made friends with everyone she met and everywhere she went. Raising her three children as a single parent didn't leave her a lot of personal time.  She did enjoy short trips with friends or on an occasional bowling trip.  She accumulated many pins for these outings. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her lesson in life was to be kind to everybody.

Her loving family includes, daughters, Arla Dockter, Sleepy Eye, MN, Nancy (Clair) Simonson, Glenburn, ND; son, Ignatz (Marilyn) Dorscher, Burlington; 5 grandchildren to include: Matthew Dockter, Sarah Beth, Brock and Megan Simonson and Seth Dorscher; 12 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
