Cheryl Ann Stroud, 53, Minot and formerly of Detroit died on Friday, December 20, 2013 in Trinity Hospital from cancer.

Cheryl was born on June 25, 1960 in Detroit, MI to Fredric and Loretta (Abray) Stroud. She was reared and educated in the suburbs of Detroit and graduated from Plymouth-Canton High School in 1980. As a young adult she was employed as a Medical Assistant. Also, she was employed as a Pharmacy Tech for Gerber Memorial Hospital in Freemont, MI for five years prior to moving to Minot in 2010.

Cheryl especially enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, reading, cooking, riding motorcycles and spending time with her grandchildren and family.

Cheryl's loving family includes her children: Jessica Manning (Hannah Charlette) and Wesley (Angela) Manning all of Minot; grandchildren: Devon, Caleb, Raven, Xavier, Wesley III and Zander; mother: Loretta Kowalski of Claire MI; stepmother: Elizabeth Stroud of Jerome MI and several cousins including Raymond Abray. She will always be loved, missed and remembered.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her father.

Memorial Service: In the summer of 2014 in the White Cloud, Michigan area.
Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Trinity Cancer Care Center especially Dr. Makoni and Jeanette for everything they have done above and beyond the call of duty.
