Charles W. Windisch, 67, Velva, died Friday, November 7, 2008, in a Minot hospital. Charles was born June 14, 1941, in Baltimore, MD, to Mr. and Mrs. William Windisch.

He was raised and received his formal education in Baltimore throughout his youth. Charles enlisted in the United States Air Force November 2, 1959 in Minot, ND. He served his country honorably working as an aerospace technician until his retirement, after 20 years of service, November 30, 1979, from Travis Air Force Base in California. Charles's hobbies included hunting and fishing.

Surviving family includes: Brother: William Windisch, Springfield, WV.

Charles was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral: Per Charles' request, a private burial was held.
Interment: North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, ND
