Charles G. Graf, 78, San Diego, formerly of Carpio, died on, Wednesday, February 2008, in San Diego.
Charles G. Graf was born in Carpio, North Dakota, on November 14, 1929 to Charles J. and Pearl (Sem) Graf. Due to his mother's on-call schedule as a nurse, Charles moved to Wood Lake, MN and lived with his Aunt and Uncle Albert and Alma Peterson. He graduated from Wood Lake High School in 1948. Gary enlisted into the United States Air Force on March 24, 1949. He achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant and was honorably discharged on December 2, 1952.
Following service to his country, Charles attended Dakota Business College in Fargo. In 1954, Charles gained employment with the Travelers Insurance Company as a field auditor in their Chicago office. Charles was transferred to Los Angeles in 1963, where he was promoted to supervising field auditor in 1967, and two years later promoted to assisted manager of the department. At the time of his retirement he was supervisor of the auditing department.
Surviving family includes many cousins, including, Donna (Bud) Kalmbach, Minot, and Frances McIloroy, Vancouver, BC, Canada, Yvonne Fracchiolla, Bozeman, MT, and aunt, Ruth Sem, Bozeman, MT.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
