Charlene Furrow , 73, Minot, died on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 in a Minot hospital with her loving husband at her side. She had been struggling with diabetes and cancer for the past several years.

Charlene Ann Davis was born on January 7, 1950 in Fort Totten, ND to Saul and Margaret (Jones) Davis. She was raised and educated in Minot and attended Minot State University for two years. As a young adult she was employed at a local dry-cleaning establishment and at Sykes.

Charlene married Barry Furrow on December 25, 1988 at Minot Air Force Base. They made their home at MAFB and Charlene was employed at the North Dakota Department of Human Services as a mental health counselor. She retired in 1997.

Charlene had attended St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. She especially enjoyed playing pool, collecting teddy bears from most states and caring for her pets.

Charlene is survived by her husband of 34 years Barry; children: Vincent, Tony and Linda; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and several step siblings.

Charlene was preceded in death by her parents, brother: August Newman and several step siblings.

Public Visitation and Viewing: Wednesday, May 10, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home – Minot.
