Casey Ward, 55, Minot, owner/operator of Ward Warehousing, died Monday, March 2, 2020 in his home.

Casey was born February 7, 1965 in Emporia, Kansas to William Roger and Melba (Todd) Ward. He moved to Minot at the age of two. Casey attended Minot Public Schools, graduating from Minot High School in 1983. He continued his education at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks through 1986. He was a member of the Theta Chi Fraternity during his college years.

Casey's previous marriage to Angela Foster blessed all with two children, Shelby and Jesse. They made their home in Minot. Casey joined the family business, Roger Ward North American. He spent the last years of his working life as the owner/operator of Ward Warehousing in Minot.

Casey was united in marriage to Lisa (Long) Cymbaluk on October 2, 2010. They enjoyed a lifetime of memories during their time as husband and wife. Casey was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting game in all seasons with gun or bow. Bart and Oakley, his canine companions, often joined him during his time in the outdoors enjoying all of its gifts. He enjoyed camping with family and friends and often bragged about how fast he could change a flat.

Casey was a member of Vincent United Methodist Church, BSA Northern Lights Council-Tomahawk District and Souris Valley Bowmen's Association, all of Minot. He was an antique car collector, enjoyed watching NASCAR and was a past member of the Minot Rifle and Pistol Club. He was a corporate sponsor of the Hostfest for many years.

Casey will be missed by all who were blessed to share in his life, but most by those who knew him as a husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend.

Casey is survived by his loving wife Lisa Cymbaluk Ward, Minot; children Shelby Ward and Jesse Ward; stepchildren Tyler (Heather) Cymbaluk, Tate (Torie) Wells, Chase Cymbaluk, Cody Cymbaluk and Quinn (Shaelyn) Cymbaluk; grandchildren Aria, Sawyer and Abel; mother Melba Ann Ward, Naples, FL; sister Jennifer (Bill) Torres, Carrollton, TX; mother and father-in-law Jerry and Joan Long, The Woodlands, TX; sister-in-law Lori (Justin) Friddle; brother-in-law Jeff (Cherise) Long; numerous nieces, nephews and last but not least his dogs Bart and Oakley.

Casey was preceded in death by his father William Roger Ward, grandparents Wayne and Melba Irene Todd and Dorthea and Wilber Ward and aunt Debbie Ness.

Celebration of Casey's Life: 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 9, 2020 at Vincent United Methodist Church, Minot.
Visitation: Saturday, March 7, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
