Casey "Jonesy" Walhood , 45, Minot, died Tuesday, February 24, 2026, in his home after a period of declining health related to diabetes.

Casey was born February 9, 1981 in Minot, ND, the son of Billy Lynn and Donna Jean (Crume) Walhood. He was raised and educated in Minot.

Casey joined the workforce and was employed at Schatz Truck Stop Truck Wash in Minot. More recently, he worked with Chad Bechtold at Minot Auto Mart until stepping away due to health concerns.

Casey was a skilled and crafty handyman who could fix nearly anything and took great pride in his work. He loved the outdoors, especially camping and often fondly reminisced about the cherished camping trips of his childhood.

Casey will be missed by all who shared in his life.

Casey is survived by his son Dominic, mother Donna, little brother Cory and numerous extended family members.

Casey was preceded in death by his father Billy and grandparents.
