Caroline Rosina Raszler, 86, Minot and formerly of Beulah, died on Saturday, April 6, 2013 in a Minot hospital.
Caroline was born on June 19, 1926 in Beulah, ND to John and Rosina (Schnaidt) Raszler. She was reared in Beulah and attended country schools near Beulah. She graduated from Beulah High School in 1944. Caroline continued her education at North Dakota State School of Science for two years before gaining employment in Fargo/West Fargo as a secretary.
Caroline moved to Chicago in 1951 where she was employed as a secretary for an advertising broker until 1955. She was also employed as a legal assistant at Old Republic Life Insurance Company until her retirement in 1990. She moved to Sandwich, Illinois in 1990 where she resided until moving to Minot in 2006.
Caroline was an active member of Christ Lutheran Church. She especially enjoyed quilting and knitting.
Caroline is survived by her brother, Ernest (Marcia) Raszler of Ryder and sister, Pauline Richau, Golden Valley and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Caroline was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Jacob and Carl Raszler, and sisters, Bertha Shipman, Freda Aipperspach, Alice Guttormson and Irene Richau.
Celebration of the Life of Caroline Raszler: Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Rose Valley Lutheran Church, rural Des Lacs.
Interment: Rose Valley Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Visitation: Tuesday, April 9, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home - Minot.
Memorials are preferred to the donor's choice.
