Carol Parrow, 85, Minot, ND and formerly of Lansford, died on Tuesday, October 23, 2007, in Trinity Nursing Home, Minot, ND.

Carol was born on Sept. 4, 1922 in Forman, ND to Nina (Dada) and Clarence Argersinger. She attended school there and graduated from Forman High School in 1940. She attended Valley City State Teacher's College and received her teaching certificate. She taught in Brocket, Havana, and Lansford, ND. She was employed at the Lansford Bank for several years.

On Sept. 28, 1944, she married Donavon Parrow in Havana, ND. They made their home in Britton, SD, Havana, ND, and moved to Lansford in 1947 and started farming. They retired from farming in 1985. Carol and Don spent many winters traveling in their trailer to California, Florida, Texas, and Arizona. In 2004, they moved to Minot due to Carol's health. She became a resident of Trinity Nursing Home in Minot in March, 2007.

Carol was a member of the Lansford United Methodist Church. She was active in the Women's organization, taught Sunday school and Bible School and sang in the choir. She was a member of the Lansford Senior Citizens, and a member of the Lansford Country Club, where she served as Secretary many terms. She and Don served over 20 years as chairman of the Lansford Food Pantry, helping many needy families in Bottineau County.

Survivors: Husband: Don, Minot; Children: Margaret (Carl) Kinnoin, Mandan, ND, Judith (Clyde) Routledge, Lansford, ND, and Deborah (Gary) Blowers, Minot, ND; Sisters: Margaret (Peg) Tyler, Minot, ND, Doris Morrow, Olympia, WA, and Mary Leslie, Rochester, MN; Grandchildren: Carla (Brad) Landenberger, Dean (Kim) Kinnoin, David Kinnoin, Douglas Routledge, Joel Routledge, Gregory Routledge, Nathan (Tonya) Blowers, Jason (Kristyl) Blowers, Brandon Blowers, Lisa Blowers, Amanda Blowers, Belinda Blowers, Rebecca Blowers, Tricia Blowers, and Brady Blowers; Great Grandchildren: Abigail and Lindsey Landenberger, Emma and Jackson Kinnoin, Zachary, Samantha, and Alexa Routledge, Jeremiah Petersen, Aaron and Ryan Blowers, Tyler and Austin Blowers, and Brandon Nelson.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral: Saturday, October 27, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in Lansford United Methodist Church, Lansford;
Interment: Lansford Cemetery;
Visitation: At Carol's request there will be no reviewal, however, family and friends are invited to sign the memorial register book on Friday, October 26, 2007 from noon - 4:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
