Carol Ann "CoCo" Conati, 66, Minot, died Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

CoCo(Srur) Conati was born on May 14, 1945 in Rugby, ND to Charles and Ada (Ongstad) Srur. CoCo began her nursing career in Crookston, MN as an LPN. She went back to nursing school in 1981 and obtained her RN degree from Lakewood College. She was a Director of Nursing in MN, Evansville, IN, and Plano, TX. She moved back to Minot, ND in 2002 and worked at Trinity Hospital until her retirement.

CoCo was a member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Minot, ND and loved cooking, spending time with her family, gardening, playing cards and making flower arrangements. She was a passionate mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She celebrated life's milestones with a spatula in hand and a hot meal-always the caregiver and a mother to everyone.

Every day was a celebration and her sense of humor and giving nature was larger than life. She was bighearted, open-minded and strong-willed. Her endless generosity and love of cooking would keep your heart and your body nourished.

CoCo was a dedicated Nurse, always believed in hard work, treating people with respect and dignity. She taught her children right from wrong, to respect all life, to work hard and to love their family unconditionally.

Survivors include, her children: Brian Conati of Golden Valley MN, Michael (Piper) Conati of Evansville IN, Deanne (Kenny) Stevens of Minot ND, Foster Limon of Minot ND; grandson: Zachery Conati; brothers and sisters: Denny (Mary Lou) Srur of St. Cloud, MN, Donna Olson of Drayton ND, Janice (Jerome) Lundeen of Minot ND, Mike (Pam) Srur of Burnsville MN; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

CoCo was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and brother in law: LaVern Olson.

Mass of Christian Burial : Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in St John the Apostle Catholic Church, Minot.
Vigil Prayer Service: Friday, June 17, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
Visitation : Friday from 2:00-7:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
