Carlotta "Toddy" Ann Burcham , 70, Minot, went home to be with Lord on Saturday, December 12, 2020 in a Minot Hospital.
Toddy was born on February 18, 1950 in Sac City, Iowa, the daughter of Marvin and Norma (Wycoff) Werkmeister. She was raised and educated in Iowa and Minnesota. She had three children from her first marriage and moved to Dickinson, where she was introduced to William "Bill" Burcham by mutual friends. They were united in marriage on November 28, 1981. From this union, she gained six additional children.
They moved to Minot and built a life together, adding two additional children to the family. She was a fun-loving woman, with strong faith in the Lord. She loved making folk art, attending craft shows, making jewelry, singing to the birds, talking to the squirrels, dancing and travelling. Two of her favorite places to visit were Medora and Duluth. Most of all, Toddy enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She touched so many lives and will be forever loved and missed and remembered by all who loved her.
Her loving family includes, husband of 39 years, Bill; children, Amber (Randy) Ballard, Jesse (Larissa) McGrath, Shannon (Christine) Burcham, all of Minot; Michael McGrath, Gibson City, IL, Nathan (Amanda) Burcham, San Antonio, TX, Susan (Myron) Cahoon, Deborah (Dave) Cahoon, Mike Burcham, all of Center, ND; Connie Fisher, Pick City, ND; son in law, Michael Bierschbach, MN; sisters (in-laws) and brothers (in-laws); along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; parents; daughters, Jennifer Bierschbach, Roxanne Cahoon, brother, Kevin Werkmeister, dear friends, Diana Heidt, Sandra Bentz, Darcie Madry, as well as her beloved "Snotty little dog", Pippin.
Service:
There will be a private family service held on Friday, December 18
th
at 1:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
Visitation:
There will not be a viewing, however friends may sign a memorial register book on Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot. Social Distancing guidelines and masks are required.
A celebration of life service and burial will be held in the summer of 2021.
