Carl R. Petschke , 80, of Lincoln, NE, formerly of Minot, died July 30, 2018 in Lincoln. He was born on May 1, 1938 in Minot, ND to Otto and Hilda (Albers) Petschke. He owned and operated Carl's Contracting in Lincoln until his retirement.

Carl is survived by his sons, Brent Petschke and Brian Petschke both of Arizona; daughter, Betty & Deeter Hudobnik of Denver, CO; stepchildren, Ricky & Genny Mendoza and their children Jonny Mendoza, Jesse Mendoza and Vicki & Eddie Gentry all of Lincoln; brothers, Dennis Petschke & Burdine Nines of Malcolm, NE, Rodney & Phyllis Petschke of St. Paul, MN, and Robert & Jeannie Petschke of Stillwater, MN; 5 grandchildren, 4 nieces and 3 nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dorothy; and stepdaughter, Judy Archer.

A funeral service was held on Thursday at Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home, Lincoln, NE. Graveside Service: 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 6, 2018 in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot, ND. Memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer's Association.
