In Loving Memory of Carl Alan DeFlorentis
On September 2,2011, Carl Alan DeFlorentis passed away suddenly in Minot, North Dakota. Carl was born in Clelveland, Ohio in 1956, his family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1962 where Carl graduated from Western High School in 1974. Shortly after graduation Carl joined the United States Navy where he retired as a Chief Petty Officer after twenty-five years of dedicated service.
He spent many years traveling the world as a free spirit, before retiring and settled down in California. Carl A. DeFlorentis is survived by his two daughters, Amanda Marie DeFlorentis and Amber Nicole DeFlorentis Houge, and three grandchildren. Four siblings, Christopher E. DeFlorentis, Jamey L. Lien, Kimberly E. Smith and Kyllan T. McCall.
Carl worked for many years in the restaurant business and was a General Manager for Applebees where he was employed for the last four years. Carl won numerous awards for his outstanding managerial skills and excellent customer service. The award he was most proud of, was his General Manager of the year award. Carl won that award this year .
Carl was beloved by all. He will be sorely missed by family & friends. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at 2:30 PM at the Riverside National Cemetary area 3 in California. All Carl's friends are invited to come to the the grave side funeral service.
At 5pm Tuesday, September 27, 2011 there will Memorial to honor & celebrate the life of Carl DeFlorentis. It is being held at Reilly's Pub & Restaurant, 36200 Date Palm Drive, Cathedral City, CA. The family invites all Carl's friends to come & celebrate his life with them.
