Bruce C. Kerzman , 71, Minot, died Friday, November 29, 2024, in his home.

Bruce was born on September 3, 1953, in Turtle Lake, ND to Dennis and LaVonne (Anderson) Kerzman. He moved to Minot at an early age where he became a member of the Kalix family. He loved his fellow roommates and staff that became a very important part of his extended family throughout his years with the program.

Bruce found joy receiving cards in the mail, no matter what the occasion. He always looked forward to trips to Williston, ND on his birthday with his brothers Don and Tom, and his wife Sharon, niece Tara Kerzman Tiedje and great-niece Dani Tiedje. Stops at Walmart and McDonalds were always the best parts of his birthday along with family time. Bruce loved radios and televisions. He enjoyed listening to music and many programs were a highlight of many days.

Bruce will be remembered for his love of simple things in this life – a large coke, good hamburger, a television or radio and last but not least…a car ride with friends.

Bruce is survived by his brothers Don Kerzman and Tom (Sharon) Kerzman of Glendive, MT and Brian Kerzman of Bismarck, ND, numerous nieces and nephews and his extended family at Kalix in Minot.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, sister Diane Degenstein and brothers Jerry and John Kerzman.

Memorial Gathering of family and friends to share memories of Bruce will be held at the Thomas Family Funeral Home on Friday, December 6, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
