Bruce Benson , 63, Minot, died Wednesday, December 7, 2022, in his home.

Bruce Lyle Benson was born October 1, 1959 to Kenneth and Harriet (Leske) Benson in Minot, ND.

Bruce graduated from Minot High School in 1978 and attended North Dakota State University. He was diagnosed with mental illness as a young man, but as a devout Christian and with the help of many people throughout the years, he was able to live a good life.

Tennis, water and snow skiing, and reading scriptures were his passions.

Bruce is survived by his sister Barbara (Dennis) Frykman of Atlanta, GA, brother Chuck Benson of Rapid City, SD, sister-in-law Dale Benson of Houston, TX and nieces Lindsay, Bethany and Whitney.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents and brother Bob Benson.

Funeral Service: June 9, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot
Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot
