Bonnie Adkins, 71, Minot died Monday, April 16, 2018 in a Minot hospital.

Bonnie Lou Adkins was born on November 24, 1946 in Hippo, KY, to Owen and Mae (Reed) Bailey. She was raised and educated in Kentucky graduating from Maytown High School in 1965.

On November 18, 1967 Bonnie married Larry Adkins in Clintwood, VA. Bonnie lived many places throughout her life including Saudi Arabia, Alaska, the Philippines and lastly Minot. In Minot she worked at the MAFB in childcare.

Bonnie's passion in life was her family and any animal she came across.

Bonnie's loving family includes husband, Larry; Daughters, Regina (Allen) Alford, Minot and Patricia Adkins (Lamonte Davis) Minot; Grandsons, Justin, Corbin and Channing; Great Granddaughter, Marleigh; Brother Jerry (Brenda) Bailey, Hippo, KY and her beloved pets Bailey and Charlie.

Per Bonnie's wishes she has been cremated and a private service was held.
In lieu of flowers or plants memorials are preferred to Hairball Haven or the Souris Valley Animal Shelter.
