Boisy Walker Jr., 86, Souris, ND, died Tuesday, October 16, 2018 in a Minot hospital.

Boisy was born on February 6, 1932 in Lexington, Mississippi to Boisy Walker Sr. and Ernestine Walker. He was raised and educated in Mississippi.

He entered the United States Army on February 16, 1963 and served until his honorable discharge on January 26, 1967.

After the service he made his home in Milwaukee, WI area and worked as a farm and ranch hand. He moved to North Dakota some ten years ago and was sharing his help on local farms and ranches.

Boisy enjoyed fishing, playing Bingo and meeting new people. He especially enjoyed the company of his beloved dog, Wiener.

He is survived by two sons and his close local friends, John Sivertson and Tammy Weltikol and many friends in the communities of Milwaukee, WI, and Souris, ND.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Tyrell and siblings.

At his request, no service will be held.  A book signing for his friends will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
