Obituary

Blaise F. Roblewsky, 55, Minot, died August 12, 2008, in a Minot hospital.

Blaise was born April 9, 1953, in Aberdeen, SD, to Anton and Margaretta "Marge" (Meyers) Roblewsky. He was raised and educated in Watertown, SD, where he graduated from high school in 1971.

Blaise was united in marriage to Armella Klein April 6, 1974 in Waverly, SD. This union was blessed with a daughter, Amber. They made their home in Minot, ND. Blaise enlisted in the United States Air Force on May 31, 1973, serving his country honorably for over twenty years until his discharge on June 30, 1994 as Senior Master Sergeant. Armella passed away February 14, 1994.

Blaise continued to reside with his daughter Amber, in Minot, where he gained employment most recently at ING at their service center as a policy/plan service coordinator.

Blaise married Joanne Livingston January 19, 2008 in Surrey, ND and they resided in Minot, blending two families into one unit. They hunted and fished together and spent many hours together walking through the park and trails around the area.

Blaise was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Minot and helped out as third base coach for his daughter's softball team from the time she was in fourth grade.

His hobbies and interest included hunting, spending time at softball games, fishing, running, and watching Minnesota Twins games on television. Blaise loved life and put everything he had into his daughter and wife. He laughed easily, was very affectionate, and loved singing along with Johnny Cash and Tom T. Hall. He had friends at every junction of his life, and treated them like family also. The friends he made while serving in the military and his friends throughout his life are his friends to this day. He was especially fond of his "work daughters" and the softball team. Blaise was always reaching out to pull someone into his circle. You would always see Blaise with either a box of popcorn or a cup of Burger King coffee.

Blaise gave the greatest gift to other people at the time of his death; Blaise was an organ/tissue donor. He will be deeply missed by all who shared in his life.

Surviving family includes: Loving wife, Joanne, Minot; Daughter, Amber Roblewsky, Bismarck, ND; Mother, Marge Mardian, Watertown, SD; Brothers, Bernie (Nancy) Roblewsky, Sioux Falls, SD, Pat (Linda) Roblewsky, Omaha, NE and Tim (Tracy) Mardian, Warwick, RI; Stepsons: Brett (Lisa) Livingston, Bryce (Heidi) Livingston, and Jarrod (Katie Sheeley) Livingston, all of Fargo, ND; four step-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
