Beverly Maxine Mellberg McKee, 86, Minot and formerly of New Rockford died on Sunday in her home.

Beverly was born on September 10, 1928 in New Rockford, ND to Arthur W. and Lillian S. Mellberg. She was reared and attended school in Minot where the family moved during the 1930's.

Beverly especially enjoyed spending time with her family and especially enjoyed her outings with her sister Betty to McDonalds and Goodwill. Also, she was very protective of her younger brother Bill.

My Dear Mother: You were a handful to say the least during your final days with us, and I am certain you thought the same of me, but our love for you never diminished, despite your refusal of medical treatment. You truly were one of God's children who knew right from wrong and were not afraid to tell us so. You were indeed "one of a kind" and had an opinion for us whether we wanted it or not. Thanks mother, as usual you were right: no more suffering, just bliss, peace and rest at long last with Pa, Ma and Dolly. Rest in Peace Mother, with God Speed until we meet again. You will always be in our thoughts with love. Your loving son Harold and family

Beverly's loving family includes her son: Harold C. Mellberg (Maxine Newman) of Minot; granddaughter: Ashleigh Newman (Leonard Anderson) of St. Paul, MN; great granddaughter: Parker Anderson; sister: Betty McKenzie of Minot; brother: William Mellberg of Corpus Christi TX and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents and sister: Dolly.
