Beverly Dee "Bev" Collins, 79 Minot, died Thursday, October 19, 2017 in a Garrison Nursing Care Center.

Beverly was born on March 31, 1938 at Minot, North Dakota, the daughter of Donald and Marjorie (Wehr) Norris. She was raised and educated in Minot and graduated from Minot High School in 1956. She attended Minot State Teacher's College for one year where she received her secretarial training. She continued at the College for one year, working as a secretary for Dr. Busse.

Bev was united in marriage to James Collins on June 22, 1963 at Minot. Along with raising their two sons, she worked as a secretary for local businesses and at Little Flower Elementary School for 27 years. She retired in 2001.

Bev was a longtime member of Little Flower Catholic Church and the Confraternity of Christian Mother's. She enjoyed reading, gardening and bowling.

Her loving family includes , husband of 54 years, Jim Collins, sons, Bradley Collins of Albuquerque, NM and Scott Collins of Minot; 3 grandchildren to include, Paige, Makenzi and Tyler Collins; cousins, Jeff Atwood, Nancy Stockman, Marge Chamberlin and Shirley Gillund.

Bev was preceded in death by her parents and her uncle, Walt Wehr.

Mass of Christian Burial : Friday, October 27, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. in Little Flower Catholic Church, Minot.
Interment : Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
Vigil Prayer service & Rosary Recitation : Thursday, October 26th at 7:00 p.m. in the Church.
Visitation: Thursday from 2:00-5:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
Memorials are preferred to Little Flower Catholic Church.
