Betty Walker , 55, Minot, died Thursday, July 22, 2021, in the loving company of her family at Minot assisted living facility.

Betty Ann Walker was born on May 4 ^th , 1966, in Minot, ND, to Richard and Donna (Milkey) Walker, and was raised on her family's farm Northeast of Minot. She attended Minot Public Schools, graduating from Minot High in 1984.

In June of 1985, Betty married Bruce Dutenhafer; their union was blessed with two children: Stephanie Dutenhafer and Sadie (Dutenhafer) Larson, the mother of Betty's grandsons. Betty and Bruce divorced in 1994.

In 2018, Betty met Troy Hauf, who would become her best friend, partner, and fiancé.  A relationship that remained strong until the end of her life. Betty enjoyed their time going to the mountains, gardening, camping, and fishing; overall just being together.

Her daughters and grandsons were the light and joy of her life.

Betty is survived by her father, Richard Walker; fiancé, Troy Hauf; daughters, Stephanie Dutenhafer (Tommy Ellis) and Sadie (Shawn) Larson; grandsons Ayden Larson and Tucker Larson; brothers Rod Walker and Richard (Helen) Walker; sister, Wendy Walker; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Betty is preceded in death by her mother, Donna Walker.

Family and friends are invited to sign a memorial register book on Monday, July 26, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
