Becky Holen, 62, rural Foxholm, died Saturday, March 14, 2020 in her home.

Becky was born November 19, 1957 in Minot, ND to George and Anne (Nelson) Moen. She grew up in rural Foxholm and Carpio. Becky graduated from Carpio High School in 1976. She was employed by K-Mart for eight years and also for the Department of Transportation for four years.

Becky was joined in marriage to Gerald Holen on January 9, 1987 in Carpio. They made their home in Garrison for eighteen years prior to moving to Mayland Township of Ward County near Foxholm in 2005. Becky worked at Holen Construction in McClusky for 19 years and also assisted her brother with his farming operation. Gerald passed away on March 4, 2008.

In 2012, Becky welcomed Jon Johnson into her life. They have enjoyed many special memories during their love and friendship. Becky also treasured life-long friendships with Mary Hansen and Beth Grabow, treasuring the precious times they shared during their lives.

Becky was a member of Carpio Lutheran Church and was a past member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Garrison. She enjoyed spending time in the outdoors. She loved to shed hunt in the spring of each year in the coulees around her home. Becky was a caretaker. She was always willing to lend a hand or a shoulder to lean on. She will be forever loved by all who were blessed to share in her life.

Becky is survived by her companion Jon Johnson, Foxholm, ND; siblings Steven (Jan) Moen, Burlington, ND, Jeff (Tammi) Moen, Foxholm, ND and Michael (Debra) Moen, Dickinson, ND; stepchildren Sheila (Kent) Brown, New Rockford, ND and Tina (Scott) Maghakian; 5 step grandchildren; 2 step great-great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Becky was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gerald, an infant brother Gregory and nephew Ethan Moen.

Following the recommendation of Governor Burgum, Becky's family will celebrate her life with a family service by invitation that will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 21, 2020 at the Carpio Lutheran Church, Carpio, ND.  The service will be livestreamed for the public to view.

Public Visitation: Friday, March 20, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
