Beatrice Guy , 100, Minot, died Thursday, October 16, 2008 in a Minot Nursing Home.

Beatrice was born July 11, 1908 at Minot, North Dakota, the daughter of Henry and Aagot (Anderson) Lee. She was raised in Minot and moved back to Norway with her family for several years before returning to Minot. She graduated from Minot High School and was employed with Nash Finch Company for a time.

Beatrice was united in marriage to Floyd Guy on April 3, 1938 at Minot. They lived in Washington for several years before returning to Minot. Along with raising their two daughters, she served as the longtime bookkeeper at First Lutheran Church, Minot. Beatrice was a member of First Lutheran Church, Minot. She enjoyed playing bridge and bingo.

She is survived by her daughters: Karen (David) Krueger, New Berlin, Wisconsin and Sharon Thompson of Phoenix, Arizona; granddaughters: Denise Meyers and Tricia Howsare; grandsons: Adrian & Justin Krueger; and great-grandchildren: Jadee and Lauren Krueger, Zoey and Amber Meyers; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Floyd, sisters: Esther Montgomery and Sylvia Callahan, brother: Harold Lee.

Funeral service : Friday, October 24, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in Trinity Nursing Home Chapel, Minot.
Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
Visitation: one hour prior to the service in the Nursing Home Chapel.
