Obituary

Beaeda Marie Berg, 92, Minot, formerly of Sawyer, died Tuesday, October 1, 2013 in a Minot Nursing Home.

Beaeda was born July 23, 1921 on the family farm, near Sawyer, North Dakota the daughter of Christian and Emelia (Faul) Vix. She was raised on the family farm and educated at country schools near Sawyer and graduated from Velva High School in 1939. She attended Tabor College in Kansas.

Beaeda was united in marriage to Clarence Berg on August 22, 1942 at Sidney, Montana. They made their home near Sawyer, where Clarence worked in the Vix coal mines for a time. They made their home in Minot throughout the years, while Clarence was employed as an independent construction worker in several Montana and North Dakota communities. Clarence died January 1, 1993.

Beaeda attended Our Redeemers Church. She was well known for her egg art, which she had enjoyed since World War II. She had also spent many happy years babysitting several generations of family and friends.

Her loving family includes , son, Jerry (Patty) Berg, Eden Prairie, MN; sister, Ruth Davidson, Minot; brother, Herman (Eunice) Vix, Minot; special friend, Pete Ziegler, Minot; along with several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Beaeda was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Florence (Hugo) Henke and a brother, Irvin Vix, and a brother in law, Wallace Davidson.

Funeral service: Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in Our Redeemers Church, Minot.
Interment: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot.
Visitation : Saturday one hour prior to the services in the Church.
Memorials are preferred to Our Redeemer's Church or Christian School.
