Audrey Kay Beck , 79, Minot, formerly of Burlington, died Friday, June 12, 2020 in a Minot Hospital.

Audrey was born April 5, 1941 at Minot, ND, the daughter of Ervin and Mae (Hartlieb) Klimpel.  She was raised for a short time in Sawyer and then moved with her family to Minot where she attended Minot High School.

Audrey was united in marriage to Brian Beck on September 13, 1959 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church. They recently celebrated 60 years of marriage.  They made their home in various cities including, Minot, Devils Lake, Fargo, West Fargo, Mesa, AZ, Maryvale, AZ and finally Burlington, where they raised their four children and many foster children for 46 years.  She sold Avon products, and she and Brian owned and operated Beck's Market for 21 years. Throughout the years, she had also worked various other jobs at Carnie Gardens, Piggly Wiggly, Red Owl and Heisler's.

Audrey was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church and the Church LWML. Her family was her pride and joy.  She loved to babysit and spoil all of her grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, doing embroidery work, and made blankets for each of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had also crocheted Christmas stockings for many of her family members.

Audrey's loving family includes, husband of 60 years, Brian Beck, Minot; children, Paul (Judy) Beck, Des Lacs, ND, Julienne Schultz, Minot, Pamela (Scott) Miller, Minot and Wesley (Stacie) Beck, Sioux Falls, SD; grandchildren and great grandchildren to include: Jessica (Casey) Hoff and their children, Carter, Kendall & Kimber: Timothy (April) Beck and their son, Charles; Jenda (Donny) Wingertsahn and their children, Tenley & Demi; Sarah (Travis) Gumeringer and their daughter, Reya; Christopher (Jackie) Klein and their son, Benjamin; Katelyn Mansfield and her fur baby Kinnicky; Jacey (Catlin) Bingeman and their children, Sheyenne & Sutton; Wyatt Beck and Tristan Beck; siblings, Gloria Lenton, Norwich, Dennis (Karen) Klimpel, Minot, Deb (Carl) Denkinger, Faribault, MN; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Luella Tabak and her husband, Mike, George, Gerald and his wife, Janice, LaVerne and his wife, Jodi, Patricia and her husband, Harold, Lyle "Ricky" and Thelma; brothers and sisters in law, Gary Lenton, Alice and Ken Walleen and Maybell and Howard Corey.

Funeral service : Due to the COVID, we will observe social distancing on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Minot.
Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
Visitation: One hour prior to the service on Thursday in the church.
Memorials: preferred to St. Mark's Lutheran Church, St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Salvation Army.
