Arthur Gilloyd Hagen , 83, Minot, died Tuesday, February 06, 2007, in the Garrison Hospital.
Art was born June 24, 1923, in rural Ryder, North Dakota, the son of Gilbert and Anna (Hagen) Hagen. He was raised and educated in country school near Ryder through the 8th grade. He assisted on the family farm after his education and was employed by other farmers in the Ryder area. Art entered the U.S. Navy in January of 1945, and was honorably discharged in July of 1946. After his service to his country, Art returned to North Dakota and worked for area farmers in Ryder. He then worked in the fields in Tioga and Keene, North Dakota. Art retired in October of 1983.
Art was united in marriage to Sybil Rhoads on November 14, 1964. Sybil died in May of 1989. Art married Mary Wentz on October 24, 1993, in Little Flower Catholic Church, Minot. Mary died in November of 2005.
Art was a member of the American Legion, Douglas Senior Citizens, and attended Little Flower Catholic Church, Minot. He enjoyed woodworking, traveling, and attending numerous family holidays and special celebrations.

Art was preceded in death by his parents, wives, Sybil and Mary, brothers: Melvin (Gladys) and Henry; step great-grandchild: Emma Bond, nephews: Edward Ness and Lester Johnson; niece: Coradean Hagen; great-nephews: Pat Ness and Chad Hagen; and one step grandson: Stephen Braunagel.

Interment:
Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hurdsfield, ND
