Obituary

Annie Ruth Douglas Seibert , 70, died Wednesday July 4, 2007 at Trinity Hospital in Minot, North Dakota from complications associated with a massive stroke.

Annie was born in Nashville, Tennessee on July 24, 1936 to Weaver H. and Hazel (Bracey) Douglas. She married Vernon Lewis Walker who served as a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army. Vernon was killed in Vietnam in 1968. Annie lived for many years in Killeen, Texas where she raised three children, Ricky, Melony and Monica. She married Darwin E. Seibert on August 2, 1978. They resided in Nashville, Tennessee where she and her husband Darwin owned and operated A & D Pawn in Goodlettsville, Tennessee.

Annie is survived by her loving husband of 29 years Darwin; son, Rick Walker and his wife JoAnn of Goodletsville, TN; daughter, Melony Gauthier and her husband Lane Gauthier of Hockley, TX; grandchildren, Kimberly Bridges of Brenham TX, Sara Walker Sydnor and her husband Jeremy Sydnor of Clarksville, Bryant Gauthier and Eric Gauthier both of Katy TX; great-grandchildren, Brianna Gauthier and Bryant Gauthier Jr. of Katy TX; brothers, Phil Douglas and David Douglas and sisters, Evelyn Blair and Mary Nell Jones and mother in law Melvina Seibert as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Monica Bridges, brothers Raymond Miller Douglas, Kenneth Douglas, Harold Ross Douglas and George Douglas; sisters, Peggy Nabors and Margie Barkley and father in law Earl Seibert.

Funeral Service: Thursday, July 12, 2007 in Anderson - Garrett Funeral Home - Joelton, Tennessee
Interment
will be in Joelton.
Visitation:
A private family viewing was held at the Thomas Family Funeral Home - Minot.
