Anne Vaughn, 91, Minot, formerly of Bismarck and Wilton, died Sunday, October 7, 2007, in a Minot nursing home.

Anne was born September 16, 1916, in Belfield, ND, the daughter of John and Katherine (Fedora) Oleksiw. She was raised and educated in Wilton, where she graduated from Wilton High School.

Anne was united in marriage to Randall E. Vaughn in 1953. They lived in Bismarck, where Anne worked as a waitress, and later moved to Marion, OH. They moved to Minot in 1958. Randall died in 1971.

Anne enjoyed playing bingo, gardening, going with her friends to Charlie's Cafe, and most of all loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving family includes: Son: Michael (Rita) Vaughn, Wahpeton; Grandchildren: Maggie (Ryan) Helseth, Denver, CO, Nikki Vaughn, Moorhead, MN, and Danni Vaughn, Fargo, ND.

Anne was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister: Mary Kraft, and brother: Matthew Oleksiw.

Funeral: A private family service will be held at a later date.
Memorials are preferred to the Souris Valley Humane Society.
