Annabelle Lois Sund, 78, Minot, formerly of Sawyer, died Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at her home.
Annabelle was born December 20, 1934 at Sawyer, North Dakota the daughter of David and Gladys (Haze) Smith. She was raised at Sawyer and educated at Sawyer High School, graduating in 1952.
During her younger years, she was employed at St. Joseph's Hospital in the billing department.
Annabelle was united in marriage to Clarence Sund on November 15, 1954 at Las Vegas, NV.
They lived for a time in Tioga, and she worked at a clothing store in Powers Lake. They returned to Minot in 1968, and made their home west of Minot in the Bridgeview Addition throughout the years. She was employed for a time with Clarence at Behm's Caf, the Standard Truck Plaza Restaurant and later at Schatz Restaurant & Truck Stop before they owned and operated the Pantry Caf in Arrowhead Shopping Center from 1979-2006. They retired in 2006.
Clarence died on September 22, 2013. She and Clarence were members of Bethany Lutheran Church, Minot.
Her hobbies and interests included Baking and cooking all kinds of homemade food for friends and family.
Her loving family includes, children, Randy Sund, Minot, Laurie Sund, Minot and a grandson, Louis Bohl, Minot; sisters, Mary Ellen Quame, 29 Palms, CA, Evelyn Downie, Havre, MT and Judith (Chuck) Brooks, Sawyer, ND.
Annabelle was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Clarence.
Funeral service:
Monday, December 9, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Bethany Lutheran Church, Minot.
Interment:
Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
Visitation:
Monday, one hour prior to the service at the church.
