Obituary

Anna Mae Fuller, 91, Minot, died Thursday, November 26, 2015, in a Minot hospital.

Anna Mae was born May 13, 1924, in Elbowoods, ND, to Nels and Gladys (Hanson) Nelson. She attended country schools in the area during her youth and completed her high school education in Makoti with the class of 1942. She attended college at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. She gained employment with the ND State Highway Department in Minot in 1944.

Anna Mae was joined in marriage to William H. 'Bill' Fuller on November 14, 1947, in Minot, the community they would call home their entire lives. In addition to roles as wife and mother, Anna Mae worked in the accounting department of Sears Roebuck in the 1960's and also provided bookkeeping services to several businesses for many years. Bill died September 9, 1998.

She was a longtime member of Zion Lutheran Church of Minot, where she was active in church circle and quilting groups in addition to serving as a Sunday school teacher. Anna Mae was also a member of the Spring Lake Homemaker's Club from 1950-1980. She enjoyed the many friends made at the Minot Public Library, where she volunteered over the years. She won numerous awards for her countless hours of service. In her memory and spirit, Anna Mae would request that you 'Have lunch with a friend.'

Anna Mae's loving family includes her children, Barb (Lon) Myhre, Boise, Idaho, William 'Doug' (Mary Jo) Fuller, Boise, Idaho and Susan (David) Soine, Seabeck, WA; 4 grandchildren, Alyssa Marie (Lee) Neis, Lincoln, ND, Kelli Jo (Megan) Klungtvedt, Boise, ID, William Mason (Angela) Fuller, Boise, ID and Scott Cameron (Ryann) Fuller, Boise, ID; Great-grandchildren, Jacob Neis, Weston and Stanley Fuller; brothers, Bernard Nelson, Garrison, ND and Norlan (Margie) Nelson, Garrison, ND and numerous nieces and nephews.

Anna Mae was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bill, sister and brother-in-law, Yvonne and Duane Beaver and sister-in-law, Carol Nelson.

Celebration of Anna Mae's Life: 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Zion Lutheran Church, Minot.
Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 30, 2015, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
Memorials are preferred to an organization of the donor's choice.
