Andrew Vert , 35, Mandan, formerly of Minot, died Thursday, June 9, 2016, in Bismarck.

Andrew was born July 17, 1980, in Payson, Utah, the son or Pamela Vert and Brian Pond. He was raised and educated in Utah.

Andrew was united in marriage to Jamie Stout on Valentine\'s Day in 2002. They made their home in Idaho and Utah over the years until moving to North Dakota in 2010.

Andrew worked in the family business for a number of years, specializing in the installation of countertops, tile floors and other finish work.

He enjoyed the outdoors taking the time to go camping with his family. The open road fed his love of riding motorcycle with friends. Andrew loved to cook, even though he wasn\'t necessarily a good cook except when it came to macaroni and cheese. Andrew will be missed by all who shared in his life but remembered fondly as a husband, father, brother, uncle, nephew and friend.

His surviving family includes his wife Jamie Vert, Minot; daughter, Taylor Vert and son, Dylan Vert, both of Orem, Utah; grandparents, Sylvia Mower, Orem, Utah and Jack and Amy Pond, Idaho Falls, ID; siblings, Melissa, Amber, Jaimie, Derek and Wyatt and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Andrew was preceded in death by his parents.

A private service will be held.
