Obituary

Amos Roark, 50, Carpio and formerly of London, Kentucky died on Thursday from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident near Donnybrook.

Amos was born on August 29, 1963 in London, Kentucky. He was reared and educated in London. As a young adult he was employed as a carpenter and construction worker in Kentucky. Amos was once married to Rosanna Wooten and Wanda Williams. He moved to Carpio, North Dakota in 1996 and was employed by Real Builders of Minot, ND as construction foreman and then as operations supervisor of Sand Solutions in Berthold, ND.

In his free time, Amos especially enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

Amos is survived by his daughters: Cassandra Faircloth of Brodhead, KY and Johanna Marshburn of Newport, TN; seven grandchildren; siblings: Ken of Carpio, ND Janet Stidham of London, Aaron of Corbin, KY, Adam of London, Ella Mae Pence of Rockholds, KY and Juwanna of Corbin; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation: Monday from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home - Minot.
Celebration of the Life of Amos Roark : Thursday, September 19, 2013 in the Bowling Funeral Home - London KY.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery - Corbin KY.
