Alma Bondly , 98, longtime Minot resident, went home to Jesus on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at her daughter's residence in Ellenton, Florida.

Alma Adora Strand was born April 2, 1924 to Andrew and Agnes Strand. She was the second oldest of seven children. She was raised and educated at Minot. She was united in marriage to Kenneth William Bondly on April 2, 1948. This union was blessed with 3 beautiful daughters: Carolyn (Lyle) Dallman, ND; Marilyn (Rocky) Bertsch, AZ; Michelle Skabo, FL. She has 6 grandchildren to include: William "Bill" Dallman, Anthony "Tony" Dallman, Timothy Bertsch, Allison Weaver, Gregory Bertsch and Greta Powell; 7 great grandchildren.

After her husband, Ken died June 11, 1988, she continued to make her home in Minot. She was employed as executive secretary for Mr. Rich Saunders, owner of Dakota Drug. She retired after 47 faithful years. In 2012, she moved to be with her daughter, Michelle in Ellenton, Florida.

Alma was highly artistic. She loved to paint, Rosemal (which is Norwegian decorative painting) and write in calligraphy, as she had beautiful hand writing. She was very social and loved to have fun. She liked to go bowling, camping and dancing with her husband. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Alma was a former member of Bethany Lutheran Church, Eagles Aerie, Moose Lodge, along with the VFW Post #753 and American Legion Post #26 Auxiliaries, all of Minot.

Interment : Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.

Visitation: Wednesday November 9 ^th from 4:00-6:00 p.m. in the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
