Agnes Warner, 97, Minot and life-long resident of Ward County, died Sunday, February 27, 2011, in a Ryder, ND adult care home.

Agnes was born August 21, 1913, one of nine children of Torger and Anna (Bently) Rovig. She was raised and worked on the family farm until being united in marriage to Harvey Warner on November 15, 1933.

Agnes remained on the farm until moving to Minot in 1994. Agnes enjoyed raising a big garden and sharing it with family and friends. She was especially proud of the flowers she grew and was honored to provide them for weddings or any other event that called for them. She enjoyed the Homemakers Club, Threshing Bee, Scrabble, Sons of Norway and many other Norwegian activities in the area.
