Agnes Streitz, 94, Burlington, died Thursday, August 26, 2010, in a Minot hospital.

Agnes was united in marriage to Joseph Streitz on January 20, 1942. They made their home in Minot until moving to Burlington in 1958. Agnes was employed by Minot Steam Laundry for fifteen years and then for Trinity Medical Center in the laundry department for an additional fifteen years until she retired in 1983. Joseph died on March 1, 1983.

Agnes enjoyed gardening and spending time with family.

Surviving family includes, daughters, Louise Streitz, Burlington, ND, Mary Ann (Donald) Nall, Shepherdsville, KY; son, Joseph (Deborah) Streitz Jr., Waterloo, IL; grandchildren, Brian Beavers, Matthew and Nicholas Streitz; 5 great-grandchildren, brothers, Joseph (Evelyn) Klein, Minot, Carl (Kate) Klein, Minot and Frank (Lucille) Klein of WA, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Agnes was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Edward and sisters, Barbara, Josephine, Marie, Pauline, Martine, Theresia, Margart.

Funeral service: Monday, August 30, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. in the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot, ND
Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND
Visitation: Sunday, August 29, 2010, from noon until 5:00 p.m. at the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
