Adrian Marcelle Drew , 87, Minot, formerly of Chickasha, OK and Lawton, OK, died Friday, January 13, 2023, in a Velva care center.

Adrian was born February 10, 1935 in Carter, OK, the daughter of Robert and Martha (Clancy) Foster. She was raised and educated in Lawton, OK.

Adrian moved to Chickasha, OK where she worked in the Chickasha school system and was a member of Northside Church of Christ. Upon retirement, she volunteered at the Chickasha Historical Museum.

Adrian was a sweet, honest and giving person. Her smile brightened everyone's day. When dementia affected her life, she spent time with her daughter in Minneapolis and then two wonderful years in Florida before moving to North Dakota in memory care. After five years, Adrian lived in the nursing home until losing her battle to cancer.

Adrian's loving family includes her daughter, Terri Joiner, Fargo, ND; grandson, Keith Drew, Chickasha, OK and brother, Damon Foster, Lawton, OK.

Adrian was preceded in death by her parents.
